Basic Structure
The basic structure of self-priming centrifugal pump is composed of six parts: impeller, pump body, pump shaft, bearing, sealing ring, stuffing box.
1. The impeller is the core part of the self-priming centrifugal pump, its speed is higher than the force, the blade on the impeller plays the main role, the impeller should pass the static balance experiment before assembly. The inner and outer surfaces on the impeller should be smooth to reduce the friction loss of the water flow.
2. The pump body is also called the pump shell, it is the main body of the pump. It plays the role of supporting and fixing, and is connected with the bracket for mounting bearings.
3. The role of the pump shaft is to connect the coupling and the motor to pass the motor's rotation to the impeller, so it is the main component of transferring mechanical energy.
4. Tthe bearing is set on the pump shaft to support the pump shaft components, there are two kinds of rolling bearings and sliding bearings. The use of butter as a lubricant for rolling bearings should be appropriate, generally 2/3 ~ 3/4 of the volume will be too much heat, too little noise and heat! Plain bearings use transparent oil as lubricant, and oil to the oil level line. Too much oil should seep along the pump shaft and bleach, too little bearing will overheat and burn out causing accidents! During the operation of the pump, the temperature of the bearing is up to 85 degrees and generally runs at about 60 degrees, if it is high, it is necessary to find the reason (whether there are impurities, whether the oil is black, whether the water is in) and timely treatment!
5. Sealing ring is also known as leakage reduction ring. The clearance between the inlet of the impeller and the pump casing is too large, which causes the water in the high pressure area of the pump to flow to the low pressure area through this gap, affecting the water output of the pump and reducing the efficiency! Too small clearance will cause friction between impeller and pump casing and wear. In order to increase the backflow resistance and reduce internal leakage, delay the service life of the impeller and the pump shell, the sealing ring is installed at the inner edge of the pump shell and the outer aid of the impeller, and the sealing gap is maintained between 0.25 and 1.10mm.
6. The packing box is mainly composed of packing, water seal ring, packing cylinder, packing gland, water seal tube. The function of the stuffing box is mainly to close the gap between the pump shell and the pump shaft, so that the water in the pump does not flow outside and does not let the outside air enter the pump. Always maintain the vacuum in the pump! When the pump shaft and the packing friction generate heat, it is necessary to rely on the water seal pipe to hold the water into the water seal ring to cool the packing! Keep the pump running properly. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the inspection of the stuffing box during the operation of the pump. The filler should be replaced after about 600 hours of operation.

Overcurrent unit
The flow parts of the self-priming centrifugal pump are: suction chamber, impeller, pressure chamber three parts. The impeller chamber is the core of the pump and the core of the flow component. The pump works on the liquid through the impeller to increase its energy. The impeller is divided into three categories according to the direction of liquid outflow:
(1) Runoff impeller (centrifugal impeller) liquid is flowing out of the impeller in the direction perpendicular to the axis.
(2) Oblique flow impeller (mixed flow impeller) liquid is flowing out of the impeller along the direction of the axis tilt.
(3) The direction of liquid flow in the axial impeller is parallel to the axis.

Impeller classification
The impeller is divided into two categories according to the way of inhalation:
(1) Single-suction impeller (that is, the impeller inhales liquid from one side).
(2) Double suction impeller (that is, the impeller inhales liquid from both sides).
The impeller is divided into three categories according to the cover plate form:
(1) Closed impeller.
(2) Open impeller.
(3) Semi-open impeller.
