The metal tube float flowmeter is a variable area flowmeter. When the fluid flows from bottom to top through the measuring tube, the float adjusts its position under the action of pressure difference, buoyancy, and gravity. Until the buoyancy F1, thrust F2, and the float's gravity F3 reach equilibrium with F3 = F1 + F2, at this point, the position of the float represents the flow rate. And through magnetic coupling connection, it transmits the indication and displays the instantaneous flow rate.

2.  Flow meter must be vertically mounted. Flowing direction direction of fluid is from bottom to top
     and the valve must be installed at lower position of measurement.
3.  A straight pipe with a length of 5D (D is the nominal diameter of the flowmeter) is required to be
     installed on inled pipeline and 250mm on outledt.
4.  In order to promise the measurement accuracy, a filter is needed as there is particle in the measured
     liquid. A magnetic filter for metal or magnetic particle.
5.  Considering to the convenient condition when cleaning is required, a by pass should be provided.
6.  Wiring of the type of clectric ramote data transmission. Please open the right cover of the indicator.
     Connecting according the wiring dingram (see tig 3) , then slightly tighten the pressing cover screw to
     fix the wire as the screw of the right cover as well. The indicator can be water-proof and dust-proof.

 Maintenance
1.  In order to keep the rotameter in good order. It is repuired to clean the instrument periodicatty,
     especiatty the tapered glass tube and the float.

2.  The tow sides of the indicator with snap-ring, after dismounting, the snap ring should be still taken
     with the indicator to protect dust from going in.
3.  If operating unsteadily and the indicating point is moving up and down. There may be flowing pulse
     and the medium has two-phase (liquid and gas) . Some instruiments should be taken after clearing
     up two phases so as to assure normal opration.
