Working Principle
A pneumatic actuator is a device that uses compressed air as power to open or close a valve, or to regulate the flow of fluid.It usually consists of components such as cylinders, pistons, gears and racks. The operating principle of the pneumatic actuator is based on compressed air pushing the piston, which in turn drives the valve to open or close through a transmission mechanism such as a gear or worm.

When the compressed air enters the pneumatic actuator from the A nozzle, the gas pushes the double piston to the two ends (cylinder head end) in a straight line movement, the rack on the piston drives the gear on the rotating shaft to turn 90 degrees counterclockwise, and the valve is opened. At this time, the gas at both ends of the pneumatic actuator valve is discharged with the B pipe nozzle. On the contrary, when the compressed air enters the two ends of the pneumatic actuator from the B tube nozzle, the gas pushes the double plug to the middle straight line movement, the rack on the piston drives the gear on the rotating shaft to rotate 90 degrees clockwise, and the valve is closed. At this time, the gas in the middle of the pneumatic actuator is discharged with the A nozzle.

In addition, the pneumatic actuator can also be installed according to customer requirements into the opposite transmission principle of the standard type, that is, the selected shaft rotates clockwise to open the valve and counterclockwise to close the valve. This flexibility allows pneumatic actuators to adapt to different application scenarios and operational requirements.
